A necklace and pendant made of sterling silver and a beautiful oval dark blue lapis lazuli stone. There is only one necklace in this unique, handmade design that takes us on the journeys of the Vikings.

The shape of the pendant is inspired by the Pejelskiven – a wooden disc that is believed to be the key to the Vikings’ fabulous navigation skills. Without it, they probably wouldn’t have gotten as far as they did. Since we can’t ask the Vikings themselves, the Pejelskiven has been much debated. However, most historians believe that the disc was a full circle in its original form, although no more than half has ever been found. The half disc has formed the basis for the design of the piece of jewellery.

Lapis lazuli is said to give its wearer increased self-awareness, intuition and insight.

The pendant is a perfect combination of elegance and history, adding a unique and meaningful element to your outfit. The piece of jewelry tells a story of the past with modern aesthetics.

The chain measures approx. 50 cm and the pendant approx. 2.5 x 3.5 cm.

The designer behind

As a jewelry designer, Therese Følsgaard never tires of finding inspiration everywhere around her. She was introduced to the colorful worlds of art and architecture as a child. These are today a fundamental part of her inner DNA. Cubism and the abstract in particular offer many fantastic forms to work with. However, nature is also close to her heart; a result of growing up in the countryside.
