Beautiful raw earrings in silver with partial oxidation and peridot stone.
This piece of jewelry takes us on the Vikings' journeys. The shape is inspired by the Peilskiven – a wooden disc that is believed to be the key to the Vikings' fabulous navigation skills. Without it, they probably wouldn't have gotten as far as they did. Since we can't ask the Vikings themselves, the Peilskiven has been much debated. However, most historians believe that the disc was a full circle in its original form, although no more than half has ever been found. The half disc has formed the basis for the design of the piece of jewelry.
Unique craftsmanship inspired by nature
Therese Følsgaard's unique handmade jewelry combines the details of nature with modern design. These raw silver earrings, with partial oxidation and peridot stone, are inspired by the Vikings' Pejldiskive - a navigation tool believed to have been the key to their journeys. The design, based on the half-disk, creates a strong visual connection to the Vikings' impressive navigation skills. Perfect for adding a touch of history and elegance to any style.

The designer behind
As a jewelry designer, Therese Følsgaard never tires of finding inspiration everywhere around her. She was introduced to the colorful worlds of art and architecture as a child. These are today a fundamental part of her inner DNA. Cubism and the abstract in particular offer many fantastic forms to work with. However, nature is also close to her heart; a result of growing up in the countryside.
