These handmade sterling silver stud earrings are inspired by the Viking compass – a navigational tool used to find one’s way by following the sun on the open sea. The piece is created as a fragment of the historical form, giving the design a raw and minimalist aesthetic with clear references to the craftsmanship and symbolism of the past.

The surface is rustically textured and has been given a dark patina that highlights the characteristic notches and details in the silver. The earrings are approximately 1-1.5 cm in size and add a unique touch to both everyday and festive occasions. They are ideal for those who appreciate craftsmanship with depth and meaning – and who carry their own direction with pride.

The designer behind

As a jewelry designer, Therese Følsgaard never tires of finding inspiration everywhere around her. She was introduced to the colorful worlds of art and architecture as a child. These are today a fundamental part of her inner DNA. Cubism and the abstract in particular offer many fantastic forms to work with. However, nature is also close to her heart; a result of growing up in the countryside.
