Silver chain with multi-colored tourmaline stones and a silver star with sepia grooves.

All the jewelry is handmade by Therese Følsgaard, in the finest sterling silver. Often there is only one version of each piece of jewelry: This is also the case with this necklace.

Tourmaline is suitable as a gemstone because of the mineral's beautiful iridescent colors, robustness and durability. It is said that tourmaline counteracts fatigue and exhaustion, and gives its wearer protection, balance, development and love.

Følsgaard Design often works to combine the aesthetics of nature and modern design principles. The Sepia collection is cast using the shell of the Sepia squid as a mold. The sepia shell has a beautiful structure that is reminiscent of the grooves in an ocean floor. When you wear this chain, you have both the sea and the stars with you.

The designer behind

As a jewelry designer, Therese Følsgaard never tires of finding inspiration everywhere around her. She was introduced to the colorful worlds of art and architecture as a child. These are today a fundamental part of her inner DNA. Cubism and the abstract in particular offer many fantastic forms to work with. However, nature is also close to her heart; a result of growing up in the countryside.
