Monet & Me silver necklace with mosacat and a water lily in sterling silver. Handmade by Therese Følsgaard and inspired by nature.

Agate is a semi-precious stone, a form of quartz, with fine inclusions. Mosagate has a particularly soft, green appearance. The stone is said to provide good grounding, while at the same time requiring development. In some traditions, this stone has been used at births, as it is supposed to have a soothing and protective effect.

Monet and Me is Følsgaard Design's latest collection, inspired by the water lily - a beautiful and distinctive flower that symbolizes both life, death, purification and beauty.

The designer behind

As a jewelry designer, Therese Følsgaard never tires of finding inspiration everywhere around her. She was introduced to the colorful worlds of art and architecture as a child. These are today a fundamental part of her inner DNA. Cubism and the abstract in particular offer many fantastic forms to work with. However, nature is also close to her heart; a result of growing up in the countryside.
