Monet & Me silver necklace with tortoise agate and a water lily in sterling silver. Handmade by Therese Følsgaard and inspired by nature's flowers. Only one edition of this necklace has been made.

Agate is a semi-precious stone, a form of quartz, of which the green varieties are often called jasper. The beautiful deep-clear green color is in tortoiseshell agate broken into fields that resemble those we know from the tortoise's shell. The stone is known for its healing and curative properties.

Monet and Me is Følsgaard Design's latest collection, inspired by the water lily - a beautiful and distinctive flower that symbolizes both life, death, purification and beauty.

If you want a different stone or color, you can always contact us to have them custom made.

The designer behind

As a jewelry designer, Therese Følsgaard never tires of finding inspiration everywhere around her. She was introduced to the colorful worlds of art and architecture as a child. These are today a fundamental part of her inner DNA. Cubism and the abstract in particular offer many fantastic forms to work with. However, nature is also close to her heart; a result of growing up in the countryside.
