A sterling silver necklace, with silver leaf jasper and a silver star and heart with sepia grooves.

The necklace is handmade by Therese Følsgaard in sterling silver of the highest quality. Only one version of this necklace has been made. The necklace cannot be opened, and is 36 cm long when unopened, so it can easily be worn over the head.

Silver Leaf Jasper is a gemstone made of microcrystalline quartz that is both durable and beautiful. The stone is said to bring its wearer peace, courage and freedom.

Følsgaard Design often works to combine the aesthetics of nature and modern design principles. The Sepia collection is cast using the shell of the Sepia squid as a mold. The sepia shell has a beautiful structure that is reminiscent of the grooves in an ocean floor. When you wear this chain, you have your heart, the sea and the stars with you.

The designer behind

As a jewelry designer, Therese Følsgaard never tires of finding inspiration everywhere around her. She was introduced to the colorful worlds of art and architecture as a child. These are today a fundamental part of her inner DNA. Cubism and the abstract in particular offer many fantastic forms to work with. However, nature is also close to her heart; a result of growing up in the countryside.
