The design of the earrings is inspired by the butterfly's wings, and their delicate fluttering, which gives a feeling of lightness, freedom and eternal transformation. Therese Følsgaard has played and worked with this expression, and combined both soft round and more angular shapes, in a graphic and natural design, and thus she has created a collection that both combines and changes between different design variants.

Like the butterfly that undergoes a metamorphosis from caterpillar to beautiful insect, the Butterfly collection is designed to symbolize transformation, growth and beauty.
The soft shapes and flowing lines of the jewelry capture the graceful movement of the butterfly, while the fine details give a sense of blooming beauty.

The designer behind

As a jewelry designer, Therese Følsgaard never tires of finding inspiration everywhere around her. She was introduced to the colorful worlds of art and architecture as a child. These are today a fundamental part of her inner DNA. Cubism and the abstract in particular offer many fantastic forms to work with. However, nature is also close to her heart; a result of growing up in the countryside.
